Thanks for the comments, guys. And thanks to many of you who emailed me as well. I appreciate all of your input, and for taking the time to write.

I was as shocked as you all were to find that there's a pub like this, being run just how a pub should be run. A place that respects beer, respects food, and their community -- you can sign me up for that. I wish there were more people like Mike, Dave, and Tom. It's one thing to open a pub, it's another to open it with a purpose beyond making money.

Much respect.

fantastic interview, phil. they are become a great addition to the show. your interviewin' skillz are mad.

every area of the country, every town, needs a place like this. i love that sentiment that a bar is where alcoholics hang out, a pub is a place to gather, relax, chat and enjoy the good things (and got blitzed). that fosters community. very inspiring.
i will check out that book soon.

cheers, mans!

I'm moving to Decatur!

Thanks for the great interview Phil. I'm definitely going to try and get her book. I have spent a good portion of my life in the deep south and have many friends in the Atlanta area. Hopefully I will be able to visit this awesome pub soon.
