Hi Neal! Thanks for checking out my blog, and for your kind words.

Sorry I didn't elaborate on how to actually make the caviar. I have discussed it in a previous post, as well as on my show. Here's the link to my first post on making fruit caviar. The same rules apply when making them from any liquid:

http://mylifeasafoodie.com/2009/01/10/molecular-cooking-my-new-true-passion/

Also, here's Jo's original post that got me addicted to this whole mess in the first place:

If you need help, or have specific questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We're all here to help each other out.

I am a first-timer on your site (got there via the foodgawker). The cheese shells with wine caviar look great. Yyour instructions include the ingredients but not the method to make the caviar. Would I find this elsewhere on your site or can you please elaborate.

Thank You!

Thank you for checking out my post! :-) Funny, because Jo thought it was a bell pepper too. I'm not sure that wouldn't work just as well. I love sweet yellow bell peppers.

Thanks everyone! It was a lot of fun, and not that hard to pull off. The calcic bath was not strong enough at first, so I had to add a little extra. I found that the first set I made did not make perfect spheres - they were flat. Adding extra Calcium Chloride to the bath did the trick, and they held together very well.
